The Setting:  Between SMR & SMS, (the Doom Tree Series & Rini’s Debut)
      Style:
        NA Dub / Novel

      The Story in a Nutshell:

Our favorite Sailor Scouts & Tuxedo Mask are caught in a battle between an ominous enemy and the timely arrival of a “mysterious new friend”.  Whose presence now stirs forgotten memories and secrets from the past, not to mention her evil adversaries' anger for revenge.

      The Mission:

In order to defeat the greatest evil in their most diabolical plan yet and protect Sailor Dove. The Sailor Scouts and the former Rainbow Crystal Carriers, (with the guidance of the mysterious Twilight Knight), must unlock the truth of the “Talents” and the “Rainbow Crystals” to find "The Word” to heal Sailor Dove.

      The Bad Guys:

Raven isn't a mischievous trickster of the myths of old, but a cold blooded Talent Thief.  And he’s just one of the willing puppets of the Tyrant.

      “Talents” & “Gifts”

Gift: an innate sense or ability that is intrinsically woven into someone’s being. It can never be separated from the person.  There can be more than one "Gift" per person.

Talent: is the tool that enables the gift to manifest itself into reality.  Its appearance resembles that of a coin of bronze, silver or gold from biblical times.  People usually have more than one.

i.e. The gift is an appreciation of art or a visual understanding of the light, shadow & colors of what is seen.  The talent is the ability to draw, paint, sculpt, etc.  The talent must usually be honed by skill and training, but it must first have the gift to understand the art to learn the mechanics.  But it’s not limited to the arts, it enables those who are athletically or mechanically inclined as well as those who simply have a knack of “making friends”.  Now you’re getting the idea.

Only one "Talent" can be stolen.  So they usually target the most precious one.  Once a “Talent” is stolen, the victim either must choose to become a slave to the Tyrant in “exchange” for their “Talent” back or to be willing to sacrifice their “Talent” so that it & they can’t be used for evil.

Imagine a pianist having an accident and his hands are permanently crippled for life.  Only this is far worse, his hands work fine but he could never play again no matter how much he tried to pratice.

Once the person chooses the fake talent, they become paralyzed and can’t move according to their own “Free Will”.  They become physical & spiritual Marionettes.  Once they choose the “Lie of Power” they become paralyzed and can’t move a finger without being stringed up to the Tyrant’s whims.

      The Mysterious New Friend:

As young lady in her 20's, Aileen Bailey is truly a child at heart, but possesses an uncanny wisdom of the ages. Usually shy & quiet in the presence of children or animals, she unveils her true self in funny and childlike ways. Plagued with seemingly poor health, she is really suffering from a thousand years of battle wounds.  Gee, can you guess why?

Yep, you're right!  She’s really Sailor Dove.  Who happens to be the last of the Sailor Wings, (A group of heralds or messengers who, throughout time, have been engaged in a seemingly endless crusade to prevent any from being forced to make that awful decision.  Either by preventing the Talent Thefts or by returning the Talent to its owner before the choice must be made).  She is physically the weakest of all the Sailor Scouts & the Sailor Wings.  It's probably a miracle she's lasted this long.
